DeWitt Community Hospital Foundation

The DeWitt Community Hospital Foundation was formed in 1997 for the purpose of developing, managing, and granting charitable support to meet the health-related needs of our area. Since its inception, the Foundation has raised more than $4.5 million for renovation and construction.

Our Mission

The mission of the DeWitt Community Hospital Foundation is to support the Genesis Medical Center, DeWitt mission by cultivating community awareness and opportunities for financial giving.

Contact Information

For more than 45 years, Genesis Medical Center, DeWitt has provided compassionate, quality care to all those in need in DeWitt and surrounding areas. Like most hospitals today, Genesis Medical Center, DeWitt receives the bulk of its revenue from Medicare and Medicaid. The Foundation's resources can provide an important degree of freedom and access to services and equipment that would otherwise not be available.

In addition to cash gifts and memorials, community members are encouraged to remember the DeWitt Community Hospital Foundation in their wills or living trusts. Other options include bequests, charitable trusts, gifts of life insurance, and gift annuities.

Our Tribute to Donors

The donor recognition tree is located at the main entrance of the hospital and serves as a tribute to the generosity of our community. It is this generosity that will enable us to meet the challenges of the future.
