Stacie Salowitz, MD grew up in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She received her undergraduate degree in biology and Spanish at Luther College in beautiful Decorah, Iowa. She studied medicine at the University of Iowa. Stacie is married to Jake, who is an engineer at John Deere. They love cooking and entertaining at their new home, traveling together and Bible study. They hope to visit all 7 continents together! |

Sheena L. Harker, DO is a native of Masonville, Iowa. She earned her BA in biochemistry, biology, and pre-medicine from Augustana College. Sheena received her medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Sheena and her husband, Ryan, enjoy running with Griffey, their dog. They enjoy traveling and consider themselves budding wine enthusiasts. In Sheena’s spare time, she enjoys photography, scrapbooking, baking and cooking, and reading any new book by Jodi Picoult. |

Catherine Schierbrock, MD grew up Mount Vernon, Iowa, and moved to Vermont for four years to study psychology at Middlebury College. She received her medical degree from the University of Iowa. She is married to Bill, an electrical engineer and avid Iowa Hawkeye sports fan. She loves cooking with her husband, comedy shows, and traveling. She has visited 45 states, 8 countries, and 17 national parks. |

Nathan Shaw, MD is a native of Dubuque, Iowa. He received both his BS in integrative physiology and his MD from the University of Iowa. Growing up along the Mississippi river, Nathan developed a love of the outdoors and wildlife. During his free time he enjoys water skiing, motorcycling, camping, working with computers, and spending time with friends and family. |

Ryan Boone, MD is a native of Greenville, South Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree from Covenant College, Lookout Mountain Georgia, where he played collegiate soccer. He then went on to work as a chemist focusing on water and solvent based polymers before obtaining his MD from Destiny University School of Medicine, St. Lucia. After spending 2 years in Washington DC for his clinical rotations, he and his wife are excited to be in Davenport where there is substantially less traffic. He enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Alicia, cooking for family and friends and is looking forward to starting a family. |

Linda Jager, MD received her undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Southern Indiana, Evansville IN. She received her MD from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. While she has spent a lot of time in the Midwest her roots are out east in the Philadelphia area. She has had the pleasure of spent time away from medicine raising three children. She enjoys spending time with her husband and kids. Other interest include: gardening, tennis, biking, and Bible study. |

Jose Armendariz, MD is a native of Hardesty, OK. He joined the Army following high school, where he was an orthopaedic tech for 6 years, stationed in Wurzburg, Germany, 67th C.A.S.H.. After ETS, he earned his BS in Biology at OPSU, Goodwell, OK and MD/MHSA from St. Matthew's University, Grand Cayman, BWI and St. Joseph's College of Maine, Standish, ME, respectively. He also earned an MBA with Strategic Management concentration from Davenport University, Grand Rapids, MI. He wife, Eva, a translator and interpreter, is from Barcelona, Spain. Any spare time and money is divided between visits to family in Europe and Oklahoma. His hobbies include running, playing chess and reading. |

Jason Hagemann, DO Jason Cort Hagemann, a Davenport native, graduated from Davenport West High School. He then earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at Iowa State University. He proudly served as an Army Combat Medic with the 109th Medical Battalion of Iowa City, Iowa, and the 101st Airborne Division for Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom 1. After graduating from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, in June 2010, he and his wife Heather moved back "home" to Davenport to join friends and family. |

Angela Kerchner, MD received her undergraduate degree in Fine Art from the University of Northern Iowa and her medical degree from the University of Iowa. When not working as a busy resident, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband of 15 years, Steve, and her three active children. They love to spend time outside on their small farm with lots of pets to keep them busy. She enjoys literature, theatre and writing. She hopes to have time to do pottery again someday, but for now she keeps her artistic talents active through drawing here and there. |

Andrew Cope, DO earned his BA in Spanish from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. He went to medical school at Des Moines University and met his beautiful wife, Leah, while living there. After completing his clinical rotations in Ohio, Andrew is glad to be back in Iowa to do his residency. Andrew and Leah have a very active little boy named Jeffrey, and Andrew is sure he'll be able to practice his doctor skills on all the bumps and scrapes little Jeffrey is sure to get. Andrew's hobbies include singing, playing piano, ballroom dancing and spending time with his family. |

She enjoys biking, long walks and spending time at the pool with her husband, Michael, and her adorable 14 month-old daughter, Katherine. They also have a dog, Casey, who Katherine loves to play with. Everyday is a new adventure watching her daughter grow and learn!

Karla Hirshorn, MD grew up in Hammonton, New Jersey and attended The College of New Jersey. She received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. Karla is married to Elliot, a student at Palmer College of Chiropractic. She enjoys baking, reading, church and chasing after her dog, Lady, and her cat, Ginger. Karla and Elliot are enjoying their new surroundings and the friendliness of their new Midwestern neighbors, but they still can't seem to find a real Philly cheese steak around here.

Brad Johnson, DO is from Sparta, WI. He received his B.A in Biochemistry from Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA and attended medical school at Des Moines University. He joined the USAF and completed a general surgery internship prior to his assignment as a flight surgeon in Wichita, KS. He then began a residency in otolaryngolgy--head and neck surgery at the University of Missouri--Columbia. Because he wanted to spend more time with his new wife and children, he resigned and ultimately found family medicine. He enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family. When time permits, he also likes to play tennis, run, and support his favorite soccer team Bayern Munich! |

Amanda Thoendel, MD grew up in Marion, Iowa. She attended Luther College for undergraduate and then the University of Iowa for her medical degree. She is newly married to Matt, an MD/PhD student at the University of Iowa. Together they enjoy pool, darts and the outdoors and recently hiked the Grand Canyon on their honeymoon. When Amanda is not saving lives or enjoying the great outdoors, she can be found nibbling on Girl Scout thin mint cookies. She has a small addiction, but don't worry, we're getting her help for it. |

Jamie Wallace, MD is a local of Mount Vernon, Iowa, and is rumored to be the unofficial spokesperson for both the town and her alma mater, Cornell College. She received her medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Jamie always wanted to be a veterinarian but instead is dating one, Rik! She enjoys ice cream and balances this tasty treat with running, volleyball, horseback riding, wilderness camping, canoeing and anything considered "rugged". Go Rams! |
